Everyone has the right to feel safe, both in and around our meetings. NA has a duty of care to all its members and we ask that you refrain from any behavior which might compromise another person’s safety or threaten their recovery. Our message is hope and our promise is freedom. Bullying, harassment or any inappropriate or predatory behavior do not have to be tolerated. We strongly discourage any harassment, threats, or disturbing behavior before, during, and after our meetings. This includes unwelcome sexual and romantic advances towards members, especially newcomers. Our meetings are for sharing NA recovery. It is the responsibility of all group members to help maintain an atmosphere in which every addict is safe to recover.
